Minneapolis buildings the city just ordered fixed.

Inspectors already walked these buildings and wrote up the work: handrails, walls, smoke detectors, windows, wiring. The owner has to hire someone. Fixablock puts them on your phone by 7am, sorted for your trade.

What Minneapolis orders fixed.

Minneapolis is a rental-inspection city. Most orders come from rental inspections and are inside the building: general repairs, smoke and CO detectors, windows and wiring. Porch, roofing and masonry orders are few, about 10 to 20 a month each across the whole city, and fewer in winter. In the 30 days to October 3, 2026, the city ordered work on 308 buildings:

  1. 203General repair
  2. 136Fire safety
  3. 77Windows
  4. 59Electrical
  5. 43Gutters
  6. 22Porch
  7. 17Roofing
  8. 10Masonry

Buildings per trade; one building can count under several. If you only build porches, roofs or brick, Chicago has many more of those.

We found the owner of record for 97% of these buildings in Hennepin County's parcel records. Paid plans show the owner's name and mailing address.
