Updated 2026-10-02
Our goal
We want everyone who fixes buildings for a living to be able to use Fixablock, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
How we check
On 2026-10-02 we checked the public pages and the signed-in app (sign-in, setup, the map and list, a building, the route, jobs and settings) with automated WCAG 2.1 A and AA tests (axe-core) and by using every page with a keyboard only. We check again after any change to how pages look or work.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, and the focused control is always outlined.
- The map always has a list of the same buildings next to it, so nothing depends on seeing the map.
- Text and controls meet AA contrast, and pages work zoomed to 200% and on small phones.
- Motion is kept small and turns off when your device asks for reduced motion.
