Inspectors already walked these buildings and wrote up the work: porches, roofs, gutters, chimneys, windows. The owner has to hire someone. Buffalo posts each order about two weeks after the inspection; Fixablock puts it on your phone by 7am the morning it's posted, sorted for your trade.

Buffalo inspectors write up the outside of the house: porches and steps, roofs and gutters, chimneys and foundations, siding and windows. The City posts each order about two weeks after the inspection, so a Buffalo lead is new to Fixablock the morning it is posted, not the day the inspector came. Re-roof permits bring gutter, solar and insurance leads. In the 30 days to October 3, 2026, the City posted orders on 705 buildings:
Buildings per trade; one building can count under several. Fewer in winter.
We found the owner of record for 99.6% of these buildings on the City's assessment roll. Paid plans show the owner's name and mailing address.
Each lead lists what the inspector cited, part by part. Here is a real one from this week.
Real citations from the City of Buffalo. Customers see the full address, every violation, and the owner where the property tax records have one.
The first morning run hasn't finished yet. Check back after 7am.
One price for the whole city. Narrow it to your trades and the ZIP codes you work in; it costs the same.
Buffalo code violations, permits and owner records come from Open Data Buffalo (data.buffalony.gov), the City of Buffalo’s open data portal, licensed “Public Domain U.S. Government”. In the City’s words, “there are no restrictions on the use of our published data.” The City’s Department of Permit & Inspection Services “places a two week hold on the release of data in the open portal to allow for the notification of interested parties prior to public release”, so Buffalo records reach Fixablock about two weeks after the inspection. The City says its data “shall not constitute or imply any warranty whatsoever” and does “not constitute and shall not be construed or implied, in any manner whatsoever, as containing the official records of the City of Buffalo.”
